So Much Love

Hello to all you lovely people!

I’m currently in the train and I have another hour to go, so I thought, why not write something? And today I want to talk about love. More specifically, I want to talk about the love I have for a couple of friends of mine. All of them are very different, but they’re all such wonderful people who truly make my life better and brighter.

I want to start off by saying that I’ve had a couple of moments where I sad about not having a specific friend group I belonged to. What I failed to realise was that while I wasn’t in any specific group of friends, I was still surrounded by so many amazing people. I don’t see any of them on a regular basis (I get to see one of them once a year, if we’re lucky) but that doesn’t seem to matter at all. It’s almost like pressing play after taking a short break. But that doesn’t make the friendship any less special, every time I do see these people, it’s just so much fun. Whether it’s for a coffee break, game night, shopping trip or to see a movie, it always feels so good to spend time with them.

Almost everyone knows that once you’re in my life, I love you wholeheartedly. And what I’ve recently noticed is that it literally doesn’t matter how long I’ve known you, it could be 11 years or it could 18 months, I’m just so happy and blessed to have you in my life. And what I really want to say is that I’m so thankful for all of you. If you read this and think: “oh I think she means me”, I probably do mean you 🙂

Why the sentimental friend-appreciation-post? Because I feel like the world could use a little love and positivity right now, and it’s always nice to know you’re appreciated.

Talk to you later,

Mel ♥
