Yikes

Hiiiii,

Ehm, do you remember when I said I was going to be blogging regularly? No? Yeah, it’s that long ago and I’m truly sorry about the hiatus. I don’t have a good excuse, just that I didn’t get myself together to write for a long time. Did you miss me? I’m gonna go ahead and pretend you all said yes. So first things first: an update on my life!

I am no longer a history student (yaaaaay!) and I’m super happy I got my degree back in October. It was fun, difficult and glamorous all at once but I’m definitely glad that is behind me. I have to admit, I seriously miss being in school, more than I thought I would and I can’t wait to start my Master’s degree in September.

So what am I doing with my time? Mostly obsessing over a few things. For those who’ve known me since I was a tiny child, it comes as no surprise that I have a couple of obsessions. From grade 8 to 10 I was so obsessed with the show Friends that it influenced the way I speak to an alarming extent. Sometimes I’ll watch an episode for the first time in a while and find myself thinking: “Oh that’s where I got that from!” My obsessions have ranged from TV series, to books, to musical theatre and back and now include Hamilton (and everything surrounding it) and make up (and the wonderful world of YouTube beauty vloggers). It’s almost unhealthy, but I’m happy and that’s all that matters. No just kidding, I just like spending my time listening to the Hamilton cast album and the Hamilton Mixtape (listening to Valley Forge right now and my God, it is good). And while doing that, I browse various makeup websites, on the lookout for new things to add to my collection of makeup. My sister told me the other day that the fact that I have sensitive skin saves me from myself, or I seriously would’ve spent soooo much money on makeup. Yay for sensitive skin!

The point to this little story is that I am totally getting it together to regularly write, which means there’ll be more to read soon! I have a bunch of different things planned, but if you guys have suggestions or  anything you’d like me to write about, let me know!
